The First Lady of North Jacksonville Church of God grew up the only child of Rev. Charles & Loretta Duffy--
Church of
God pastors in PA. She & Pastor Jim met @
Church of
God Youth Camp in
Somerset,
PA. After 3 years & 273 love letters, she married him on
21 August 1976.
She attended
LeeCollege & began working for K-Mart Corp. She eventually left her Personnel Manager position to become a Daycare Director in
Jacksonville & then to become an X-Ray Technician in
Ocala & in
Clearwater.
Carol gave birth to Justin on
24 June 1985 & to Marcus on
8 March 1988.
Since coming back to
Jacksonville in 2004, Carol has been Girls' Clubs/YLM Counselor, Food Pantry Director, Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, Youth Pastor, & Pastor's wife.
